Online Drug Screening is a syndicated service provided by Join Together, a
project of the Boston University School of Public Health.
Your privacy is of utmost importance to Join Together. This document outlines the kind of information we gather
from your use of this service, what we do with that information, and our
policies to protect your confidentiality and anonymity.
Self-Assessment Responses
All responses you make to the questions in the self-assessment test are
completely anonymous and confidential. For the purposes of scientific research
and usage analysis, your responses will be associated with an anonymous
numerical identifier that will not be linked to browser cookies or your IP
address (see below for information on cookies and IP addresses). If we publicly
release user response data, it will only be in aggregate (group) form.
Browser cookies and IP addresses
Join Together employs browser cookies to measure usage of this service. Join
Together does not employ third party cookies from any outside organization.
Users who do not accept cookies from the domain "jointogether.org" may fully
access all content offered by this service.
Join Together also logs IP addresses, or the location of your
computer on the Internet, when you request a web page from this service. We use
your IP number solely for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes,
as well as for aggregate site usage statistics. We do not use IP address logs
to track your session or your behavior on our site. We do not release this
information to other organizations or individuals, nor do we link IP addresses
with browser cookies or any information you submit during your site visit.
